Thank you for your post.  A hypertrophy phase of strength training is probably the best bet for building muscle.  The benefit of a hypertrophy phase is that it will build extra muscle mass/bulk. Without getting into great technical detail in this repsonse, hypertrophy training involves the overload of your muscles by using heavy loads/volume and generating muscle fatigue with each set.  Very simply put:  heavy weight and low reps.</description>
