Group Training

Philosophy

JKFITNESS will hold specialty group training classes each month.  At least two different group classes will be offered each month and classes will meet twice per week at predetermined times (i.e. 6am, noon, 6pm).

Our classes will offer variety and keep you motivated in a small, personalized, and private group setting!  These specialty groups will compliment your current fitness routine.

Price = $125.00

Includes 8 total one hour sessions (must have 4 people pre-paid & registered to hold class)

  • Clients can join a class part way through and/or pay a drop-in fee to participate in a single class.
  • To join a group part way through the cost = $20.00 per class.  Example: If there were 6 sessions remaining the fee = $120.00 ($20.00 x 6) to join the group.
  • Drop in fees = $25.00 per single class

Specialty Classes

TRX – The TRX is a revolutionary training suspension system that was inspired by the U.S. Navy Seals and utilizes body weight to improve strength, mobility, power, balance, and flexibility.

Kick Boxing – Give your workout a twist with some kick-boxing.  Not only will this workout improve your cardiovascular endurance, but it will also give you some great strength training.  Your core will be working the entire time, along with your legs, back, chest, and shoulders!  Not to mentions it’s a great stress reliever…let some aggression out and sign-up for our kick boxing class.

Bell Hell – You might want to throw that bell into hell after this intense strength workout!  You’ll utilize different “bells”, specifically the kettle bell and dumbbell, to bring your fitness to a whole new level!

Instructor Led Fitness DVD workouts (i.e. P90X & Insanity) – Have you ever wanted to try one of those HIGH INTENSITY fitness DVDs but didn’t feel like you could do it on your own or maybe you didn’t have the motivation to stick to it to the end.  The JKFITNESS trainers will guide you through these workouts and also ensure your form is not compromised!

B2 Toning The B2 stands for Body Bar…we are going to utilize a weighted bar to tone and shape your body!  You’d be surprise what you can do with little to no equipment.  Let the bar tone your body…try it out!

Spin Get your peddles spinning.  This spin class has been structured to include a combination of endurance, power, speed, and high intensity interval training.  You’ll be sure to start sweating, increase your calorie burn, and improve your overall cardiovascular fitness in this class!

Boot Camp – This varies a bit from our one month group classes.  In the JKFITNESS Boot Camp you’ll be put to the test for one full week. Our Boot Camps consist of a one hour workout each day for 5 consecutive days. From balance and core strength, to trail hikes and tire pulls you will not be bored during this class!

Gut & Butt – That’s right, the two areas that often need a little extra attention.  Don’t worry, this class will ensure your abs are rock solid and you have buns of steel.  You’ll feel the burn, but love the reward after a month of this gut wrenching class!

Balls & Bands – A complete workout with two types of equipment.  We’ll utilize resistance bands, stability balls, and medicine balls to give you a complete total body workout.  Get a ball or band of your own and carry what you learn in this class over to the comforts of your own home.

JK Muscle Blaster – JK specifically designed this muscle blasting workout to foster weight loss. Each session will pair muscle groups and blast them in mini-circuits of four exercises by alternating the muscle group back and forth!  You’ll feel the burn like never before and have a post-exercise oxygen consumption that will last for some time after your workout; this ultimately means you’ll still be burning more calories even after the workout is complete!

Str-E-tcH – Keep your muscles long and improve your every day function in this class.  You’ll improve total body flexibility so that your joints can move freely through their full range of motion.  Do daily activities with ease and help prevent muscle imbalances by stretching!

Body Sculpt – This workout will incorporate a wide variety of strength training exercises to target the whole body.  You’ll use your body weight, dumbbells, body bars, bands, balls, and more to shape and cut your body. We’ll crank it up a notch by incorporating cardio bouts between each strength circuit to ensure you’ll burn a substantial amount of calories and get your metabolism humming!

Break the Cane – This class has specifically been designed for the senior population.  You’ll soon be feeling your youth after a month of this class. The focus of each exercise class will be to improve strength, overall balance, endurance, and flexibility. We want to ensure that you remain as independent as possible, thus many of the different exercises will mimic your daily activities.

Cardio Dance – Do you like to dance?  This class will incorporate different dance classes to speed up the metabolism in a fun-filled way.  Get your hips shaking and melt the pounds away.  We’ll incorporate Zumba, Hoola Hoops, Nia, Ball Room Dancing and more.

JK Fitness 14 Day Fat Flush – This is a 14 day training and nutrition (manipulation) program that’s moderately intense.  You’re going to be held accountable and be pushed by passionate, experienced, and educated fitness professionals!  For two weeks you’ll have to work hard BUT your results are going to come fast and will be significant so long as you follow the program.  Some people lose 6-12 pounds in two short weeks.  The most important part is that THIS IS NOT A FAD DIET! Julia Karlstad personally created the diet plan with all real food and she even provides you a shopping list.
