Michael Devon, NASM-CPT

* San Antonio location

Hello, I am Michael Devon and am a native of San Antonio. I started my path toward health and wellness with my studies in nursing. After completing my first year of nursing school I received my LVN certification. As I treated patients in nursing school, I soon realized that disease prevention was the key to ultimate wellness! Why focus on treating a sickness when we could prevent the illness in the first place? This led me to surround myself with those who shared my passion for dietary health and wellness. I’m nearing the completion of my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas San Antonio…and as a supplement to my own research, I’ve completed additional courses outside of my major to absorb as much information on the topics of nutrition, exercise, and alternative health. My passion for fitness fueled me to receive my Certified Personal Trainer’s certification from The National Academy of Sports Medicine. I now have an integrative approach to health and thus stress the importance of proper nutrition and individualized exercise programs for all of my clients. Through nutritional education, people will realize how eating the right foods can be as beneficial as medicine. Ultimately, this will lead individuals down the path of long term health and prosperous living.

I’m Kimberly Black and my passion for health and fitness has spanned throughout my entire life. I have always led an active lifestyle, playing sports, as well as coaching and refereeing in high school. This passion led me to obtain my Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in Exercise Science from UTSA. While in college, I began to attend yoga classes and have been studying yoga ever since for the past 8 years now. Upon completion of my Bachelor’s, I decided I wanted to study yoga more in depth and I began studying to become a 200 hour registered yoga teacher. During my study I was able to link my passion for health and fitness with the yoga aspects of mind, body, and spirit. My love for yoga has grown indefinitely and I thoroughly enjoy spreading the message of self-acceptance, mindfulness, and self-awareness.
