What are 5 Benefits of Exercise?

Now that you are thinking about some of the good reasons to exercise. Do
you automatically think about your bathroom scale? Lets think beyond
exercise for weight loss, the benefits are not limited to losing weight.
Yes exercise can help control your weight, but it can also help prevent or
manage health problems like diabetes, cancer, anxiety, osteoporosis, and
more. It’s good for your heart health, your cognitive function, and your
immunity.

Why do we need strength and endurance? Well, we need more energy for
daily tasks like yard work or running errands. At the end of the day
would falling asleep faster and deepening your sleep make a difference in your
life? Other benefits that can be overlooked are the community. There is a
social side to exercise. You can connect with others, share your life with
others, and make new friends.

When starting a fitness program, remember weight loss is not the only goal. Strive
to feel better mentally, have more energy, feel less stressed, and
sleep better. Notice the small things that exercise does for you quickly,
rather than getting hung up on the narrow goal of the number on a scale.
